June 16, 2010 - Unexpectedly Going Out of Business
Ameriwave.net sincerely regrets to inform all of our customers that we will no longer be in business to provide internet services. Due to an overwhelming number of cancellations for dialup access within the last couple of months, we are unable to operate with positive cash flow and have no other choice but to terminate all services. This development has come unexpectedly soon with the failure of one of our core systems and no funds to correct the issue. We apologize for the lack of advance notice and offer our assurance that this was not our intention.
Those customers with paid services still pending will receive pro-rated cash refunds. To receive your refund, please contact the support center at 877-296-9155 to verify your mailing address. (If you've recently paid for service via credit card, your refund may be processed as a credit card refund.) Our billing company is holding the funds and your refund will be processed within 10 business days. Again, we regret having to close our doors, but we plan to make good on our commitment to refund any remaining service balance.
