Announcing New Member Services Features!

AmeriWave is dedicated to offering you the best internet service available anywhere in the country and hope you will agree that we have grown into a tremendous service provider dedicated to earning your business everyday. We are very excited to unveil the "new" Member Services pages to our AmeriWave website. For those of you that have visited in the past, you will find many new links and a lot of valuable information and tools to make make your AmeriWave services reliable and more enjoyable. However, the new automation will cause minor changes to the policies many of you have been accustomed to in the past. So lets review the new Member Services pages and let us point out some of the new features and many revisions.

To access the Ameriwave Member Services pages, simply click the Member Services link located at the top left corner of every page of our website. This brings you to a new page with many of the feature links showing in the left hand column, As with the old Member Services pages, access to this area remains password protected for your account security. To enter, click the green button (Sign-in to Member Services) or click one of the links. You are asked to enter your AmeriWave username and password; then click the "Login" button. With your access approved you may click on any of the links in the left hand column to reveal the account information or other tools or tips.

There are nine categories that you may access inside the Member Services pages. We will review the information for each category and its links below. Some links are only visible if you have chosen that specific service from AmeriWave.

Category - My Account:

Much of the data provided in this section is newly available. AmeriWave wants you to have as much control of your account as you feel necessary. There are three links in the My Account category and each has information relating to your AmeriWave account.

By clicking the "My accounts" link you will be taken to an overview of all of the features you have selected for your AmeriWave account. It includes usernames and passwords for all services you have subscribed to and has imbedded links to more detail of the services and payment details.

You may just want to review Service information, or payment due dates since AmeriWave does not mail invoices to our subscribers. By clicking the "My services" link you will see only the products that you have a subscription to. This page provides you with the product description, the price and payment plan as well as the date the services began for your account. Follow the on screen instructions to see additional information such as next payment due date, how payments are made and even see the amount of time you have been logged onto the internet in the past 30 days.

You may be looking to change your credit or debit card information or update your expiration date. By clicking the "My billing information" link you reveal your account payment history and a button labeled "Payment Info" in the middle of the page will take you to the encrypted data for your payment card on file. All credit/debit card transactions are processed by Internet Services, our billing company, and it is their name and phone number that will appear on your payment card's statement each month. Be sure to have your account number or your AmeriWave email address on the payment to be sure that we credit the proper account.

Category - My Email:

AmeriWave's number one form of communication with our subscribers is through the AmeriWave email system. Network issues, subscriber account updates as well as any AmeriWave announcements are all communicated first through our email accounts. This section is intended to provide you with step by step instructions for setting up your AmeriWave email account on your computer.

By clicking the "Setup my secondary email accounts" link you have access to add new accounts (remember AmeriWave provides you with up to 5 email accounts on your account so you can setup email accounts for the whole family) or modify a your existing accounts.

By clicking the "Setup Email on my computer" link you will be taken to a list of email software links. Simply select the link associated with the email software and follow the online instructions to setup your primary and/or secondary email accounts on your computer without calling for help.

By clicking the "Go to My Webmail" link you will be taken to the AmeriWave webmail service. Webmail allows you to send and receive emails anywhere using any computer with internet access anywhere in the world. However, keep in mind that if you use AmeriWave Webmail as your primary email software there are limits to each email account.  You are limited to 400 messages (including messages in other folders) or 21MB of storage on the webmail server. So it is a good idea to monitor your message size to be sure that you get all of your messages.

Click the "Go to MailVice" link to setup and manage your Spam filter. MailVice can be tailored to fit your desires. You can review delivery messages, on messages that you have sent. You can manage your "Trusted" and "Blocked" lists and view details of messages in quarantine. To read more about MailVice you can click here.

Category - Free Personal Website:

Your AmeriWave account includes features to build your own personal website. Use AmeriWave's Web Creator to communicate with family and friends or publish your photos or other information on the internet. Just click the "Create Your Website" link to initialize the account and setup your account name and password. Then use the Web Creator Wizard and the Web Creator templates to create a site that suits your design requirements. Then continue to update and manage your website by clicking the "Manage Your Website" link. This link gives you access to the wizard again to create additional pages or to modify the ones you originally created. You have up to 5MB available for your personal use. When you are ready to publish the site let Web Creator unveil it to your friends and family. It's easy and quickly lets them know your site is up and operational.  If you have a problem with Web Creator, just click the "Web Creator Help" link to get online assistance with the service. What could be easier?

Category - Dial-up Internet Access:

 Are you planning a trip and taking your computer with you? Then before you go check for a local dialup number that you can use at your destination. Click the "Find access numbers" (available without logging into Member Services, too) and plug in a number for your destination. This will reveal a list of local access numbers for that location. Select one and add it to your AmeriWave dialing prosperities. If you are not sure how to do this, just click the "Setup My Computer Manually" link and find the operating system for your computer, then follow the step by step instructions to complete the new number setup.

If you feel less confident about your computer technical skills you may want to download our SmartFix Toolbox. Just click the "Get Technical Support" to take to the software download. It's free and really makes the internet maintenance easy. But if you are not even comfortable with that our toll free 24 hour support number is just below the download screen. We are always open at this number.

Category - Web Accelerator:

The first two links in this category; "Sign up for PurSpeed" and "Download PurSpeed" are used when a subscriber wants to add the PurSpeed XL 15x accelerator to their account. Simply click the appropriate link and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the task. If you are using the AmeriWave accelerator and need some assistance click the "PurSpeed User Manual" link to take you to online help.

Category - Web Hosting:

For those interested in hosting a personal or business website with Ameriwave, you will find all of our plans and rates by clicking here.  To signup for specific hosting products simply click the "Host My Web Site" link at the bottom of the page or click the "Sign up for hosting" link to go directly to the signup page.

Category - Affiliate Links: (Category not visible until you are logged in)

If you have not yet signed up to be an AmeriWave Affiliate may we suggest you check out the opportunity now. You are missing a great opportunity! And another great reason to signup is that it is free. Remember, AmeriWave is not just in your backyard and longer. AmeriWave has over 40 thousand local dialup access locations nationwide to choose from. So if you encourage your family and friends all around the US to signup using your username as the reference you will receive a commission for that account as long as the account remains active.

To signup for the AmeriWave Affiliate program simply click the "Become an affiliate" link and complete the online application. Once your application is approved you will see three new links appear under the Affiliate Links category.

The "Edit Affiliate Info" allows you to go in to your application and change your personal information (your address and phone number) as well as edit your personal testimonial as often as you like as well as review the Affiliate policies and procedures.

The "Affiliate Summary" creates your downline report in real time and summarizes your network structure at the bottom of the page.

Finally, clicking the Affiliate History link reveals the commission results for your

account. It breaks down the activity by month for your convenience, allowing you to track your results more accurately.

Category - Affiliate Tools: (category not visible until you join the Affiliate program)

This category contains AmeriWave's marketing tools and tips to help you increase your recruiting results.

The "Email Signature" link provides you with several customized signature options with step by step instructions for your installation in your daily correspondence. Select the option that fits your strategy the best.

The "Affiliate Business Cards" link takes you to a page where AmeriWave has a special offering. The business card is all laid out for you and all you need to do is enter your name, number and choose if you want your site information on the back of the card. AmeriWave affiliates have already been pre-approved for the special low pricing for these cards. Just click the send and your business card order is on the way to the printer.

AmeriWave has created some standard advertising as well.  Click the "Affiliate Banners" or "Affiliate Flyers" to download additional advertising tools for the more "bricks and mortar" marketing strategy. And click "Search Engines" link to review tips on enrolling in PPC or natural search engine submissions.

Category - Need More Help:

All of the links in this category; "Call Us, Email Us, Write Us, are there to provide you with additional contact information to AmeriWave offices and technical support. You may want to print these pages or write the phone numbers down in case for some reason you are unable to get online.
